10.5 MW CATERPILLAR 3616
Three (3) units Caterpillar DG Sets model No. 3616. Each unit with
a rated capacity of 3,500 kW at 6.6 KV. These sets were installed
in 1994 and in constant operation until 1999 (2 units continuous at
85 % loading and 1 unit was kept as standby). All three D.G. Sets
are in perfect working order and now operate only in grid power
outages.

Designed for operation on Heavy fuel oil (Bunker "C "). The average
gross kWh/Liter of “Bunker C” was 4.05 during
continuous operation.
The Power plant is equipped with associated auxiliaries &
electrical control & power switchgear with adequate standby
units for reliable operation. Currently does not have waste heat
recovery system, but possibility to install.
All scheduled maintenance, minor & major, were carried out
under the supervision of authorized Caterpillar
representatives.
No overhaul or final maintenance was done after shut down and
therefore should take place before taking them into operation
again. |
