Boiler
The boiler is corner fired using residual fuel oil and is a NEI
- ICL design.
The boiler has 16 tilting burners (four per corner) and will
comprise a
single furnace compartment with a main and a rear gas pass, 2 -
bank feed
water economiser, six horizontal superheater stages, and a single
stage reheater. Water circulation through the furnace wall tubes
will be
assisted by electrically driven circulating pumps (constant
speed).

impulse/reaction type driven by superheated steam from the boiler.

turbine will be directly coupled to the generator capable of
